Veterinary Technician / Assistant
We are looking for a full-time veterinary technician!
Working 4 days a week (7:30am-5:30pm) rotating Saturdays (7:30am-12:00pm) with 1-2 weekend kennels a month (Kennels are Sat PM and Sun AM/PM).
The ideal candidate has a passion to work with animals and learn new skills. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, team-oriented, loves animals, and has great communication skills.
Experience in the veterinary field is not required. This is an ideal position for someone who does not have experience and is interested in getting into the veterinary field.
Fluent in Spanish is a plus but not required.
Our technicians support veterinarians with exams, client communication, and treatment. Duties include but not limited to: holding/restraint, clean up duties throughout the day, rooming patients, obtaining medical history, obtaining and processing samples, as well as caring for hospitalized patients and boarders.
After 90 days, full-time employees are eligible for uniform allowance and pet discounts.
